The requirements on implementing new edition criteria are as follows,
1. Certification of above-mentioned products will be carried out according to new criteria since Jan 8th, 2011. The product category of printers(701005), faxes(701004)and digital multifunction devices(701006)should be respectively selected.
2. For certificate holders who hold old edition certificates should submit the modifying application for certificate updated since Jan 8th, 2011,and the product type test should be carried out according to new edition citeria . The old edition certificate modification should be completed by Jan 8th, 2012. If the old edition certificate fails to be replaced, it would be withdrawn by April 8th, 2012.
3. Generally, for modifying application occurred during the certificate replacement, new edition criteria should be adopted and the valid date will be extended. If the old edition is still used, the maximum certificate valid date is Jan 8th,2012.
4. For the application accepted before Jan 8th, 2011 and tested according to the old edition criteria, certificate will be issued by old edition and the valid date is Jan 8th, 2012.
