The Pasadena, Calif., based design company NONdesigns have created a unique collection of lamps that have merged ancient enemies, water and electricity.

Their friendship has evolved into a playful series of hand blown glass lamps. Just slide the thin silver rod into the water and the WET table lamp’s interior light will become brighter. WET uses an isolated low voltage system with replaceable bulbs, and is said to be as safe as other table lamps.
