The German-born designer Pia Wustenberg's passion for?transforming piles of waste paper (i.e. magazines and posters) has created quite the collection of eco-friendly pendant lights.

Her pieces involve wrapping, pressing, and processing each piece in a unique manner with a woodworking lathe and carving tools, similar to how a woodworker creates a turned bowl. How it's done:
First she rolls the waste paper pieces?around a tube Sealing each sheet on top of the other?with a glue-based mixture A woodworking lathe and carving tool is used to shape each lamp shade
