HIGH POINT — Pasargad, known for its high-end new and antique rugs, is introducing a line of flat weave designer patterns at the High Point Market that it says are priced for furniture stores and online retailers.
Rugs in The Sahara Collection will retail for about $450 in a 6 by 9 size, the company said.
Sahara Collection rugs feature patterns like chevron stripes, tile and trellis looks and other Moroccan-inspired styles in vibrant, two-toned color stories, officials said. Hand-made of lamb's wool, the line uses natural dyes to spotlight hues including turquoise, sunflower, tangerine, soft gray, grass green, taupe and navy.
"We are thrilled to present Sahara to furniture stores and other retail outlets this spring," said Ben Isfahani, Pasargad president. "These modern flat weave designs offer a dynamic style story at an affordable price."
The company will show the new line at the April 20-25 market in its space in Market Square, Mezzanine Level, suite 1035.
