The Introduce of Electromagnetic Vibrating Feeders

The electromagnetic vibrating feeders are used to hold move bulk materials from storage areas and hoppers. They are simple in construction. They are highly important in industries for load preparation and continuous deeding. The capacity of the vibrating feeder is based on the product nature, its density and its size.

These feeders are the most effective and economical method for conveying bulk materials. They support easy feed operation. Bulk handling plants like cement, minerals etc., depend on these devices. Feeders carry bulk materials and feed them to the machines and collect the materials and deposit them in the storage space.

Construction
Electromagnetic vibrating feeders comprise a vibrating tray fixed to a power unit. The Electromagnetic unit is fixed within the heavy power unit. Spring bars that comprise a number of leaf springs secured at the two ends of the power unit are enclosed within the power unit. A substantial fabricated center piece holds the magnet armature on one side and the vibrating feeder tray on the other side. In the center of the spring system, the center piece is tightly clamped. The feed tray is made with heavy welded construction to provide firmness.

Vibrating feeders use pulsating current i.e., alternating current to run. This current forms a series of interrupted pulls on the armature when passed through the stator.

In certain special feeders, troughs can be double-walled. They are used to feed and collect substances from ovens, furnaces etc. The double walled troughs can be cooled or heated by water circulation devices. The trough size can have large surface area enabling operations like sprinkling, pre-drying, etc. This device can be set on the floor or hanged to the ceiling. They can have opened or closed trough, with or without wearing coating.

Vibrating Feeders safeguard the belt conveyors from any damage. They directly feed the material onto the belt conveyors from storage hoppers, silos, surge hoppers and dumpers at a controlled rate. Electromagnetic feeders do not have any moving parts like shafts, cams or bearings. Hence, they require minimal maintenance and less lubrication.
Solid-state controls are used for detailed, immediate feed adjustment, regular pedaling of feeder or mechanical operation. Controls are usually provided with enclosures for use in dusty environments, with other enclosures available.
