Imagine designing and creating a building almost three stories tall completely out of bicycles and light. Over the course of two and a half weeks Ai Weiwei?fabricated the hypnotic Forever Bicycles installation in Toronto, Canada's Nathan Phillips Square.

Using 3,144 bikes, the installation forms a labyrinth-like monument that pays tribute to the rapidly changing social environment around the globe.?The build began on September 19, 2013 and finished on October 4, 2013, just in time for the 8th annual Scotiabank Nuit Blanche festival.
