The designers at ThinkGeek have created a gizmo called Huey the Color Copying Chameleon Lamp. This table lamp has special sensors inside of it that can automatically read and change to any color that it's placed upon. Have you ever wanted a lamp to go with whatever color scheme you decided to place it in? Well, here it is, just in an amphibian style child's table lamp.

Huey begins by illuminating the surface beneath him with two white LED lights, after which an embedded optical sensor pinpoints the color that will best match. From there, a special electronics package reproduces that color in the form of an LED light that is emitted through Huey's soft vinyl skin.

The next part is very similar to the Philips LivingColors LED lamp, in which the Huey table lamp can be programmed to work on a cycling program allowing the LED lights to continuously fade from one color to another. During the cycling process if you see a color you like, just give it a squeeze to make it stay.
