Created by the Norwegian design duo Morten & Jonas, the name comes from the classic jail house tales about visitors helping inmates escape via a hidden file in a cake. To top it off, the Bake Me a Cake lamp is manufactured by the Norwegian prison inmates.

The designers have been working in collaboration with the Norwegian correctional services, Northern Lighting and the inmates in a project that challenges the inmates to rethink the creativity that is used while working. The Bake Me a Cake lamp is made from smoke-tinted glass, oak wood and provides a soft, welcoming light to your space. Seriously what could be better than cake and light?
