Studio Wonsukcho has taken to looking at lighting in a different way. With the use of X-ray vision, this artist is allowing its viewers to get a better look at the inner workings of a few light fixtures and light bulbs. First appearing in 2009, this enlightening?X-ray Light uses an LED panel, a steel frame, and an x-ray film.

Designed by the Korean designer Wonsuk Cho, this lighting collection is based on the light box that is often?used to look at X-Ray film. The illuminated x-ray images of?incandescent, compact fluorescent light bulbs ?and others are mounted onto small black boxes which hang from the ceiling. ?Once illuminated the x-ray film is able to expose their usually hidden skeletal structure to all.
