Bocci’s new addition to the 28 Collection uses a flexible copper suspension as a replacement to their standard wire hanging components. Specially designed to create a shimmering addition to 28’s already aesthetic design, the copper tubing is achieved through shaping the copper wire during the installation process.
This process allows for the pendants angles to be customized to the owner’s lighting design needs, with the added bonus for the glass and copper to act as a sculpture and not just a chandelier. The copper was designed to intentionally weather and tarnish, which will change over the years from a gleaming bright copper finish to a warm oxidized copper.
Bocci’s standard 28 series pendants are made with clear glass spheres and milk white interior glass cavities, with a wide range of color options available. The hand crafted nature of the 28 series allows for the pendant’s size and components to slightly vary from one another. Leaving the owner with an original art piece like no other.
