Over The Last Few Years Large Light Jellyfish Have Been Showing up at Art-Music Festivals

Over the last few years large light jellyfish have been showing up at art-music festivals all around, including Burning Man and Treasure Island Music Festival. Using specialized designed lightweight gear, high-power white LEDs, and custom electronics these OMG Jellyfish are said to be, 'The original, luminous, dance-partner sized jellyfish for fun-lovers, festival go-ers and Burning Man burners." Through a series of design accomplishments by the designers Patti and Rob Lord, the art of the giant dancing LED jellyfish has been perfected.

The compact and foldable design allows for its users to carry it around in a small travel bag and also have it flying in the air in less than 5 minutes. Keep in mind this is not a kite, instead the jellyfish is hoisted up high on collapsible poles. With just a series of movements the OMG Jellyfish can dive, twirl and roll in a spectacle dance of light and movement. This mobile, 640 lumen, 15 foot tall jellyfish can act alone or in groups to interact and engage with everyone around while transforming the night into surreal underwater experience.
