The Come Rain Come Shine Pendant Light is part of the Los Angeles based design collection's humanitarian project that helps impoverished countries employ women through the work of art and design. This particular piece is made by a collective of women (Coopa-Roca) in Rio de Janeiro in one of the cities largest shanty towns. By using their homes as workshops the member's of the cooperative are able to earn a living while still being present for their children's everyday lives.
