Checkmate. That's what the designer Sean Dare may have been thinking about when designing these strategic, cerebral hanging lamps. Capable of illuminating spaces with visions of strategy and brainy suspense, these light pieces draw inspiration from the iconic chess shapes rook and pawn.

Rook and Pawn are crafted from plantation-grown sustainable shesham wood. Each sculptural piece emits a soft golden glow from beneath, via a recessed bulb. Suspended from a sturdy black SVT cord and a matching black canopy, they are not only clever but chic too.
