The Maxlume lighting company has updated a collection of recently salvaged 1940/50′ s British industrial pendant lights. Taken from a factory in the northern part of England, these refurbished lights now illuminate the interior of one of Europe’s most popular retail store.
These industrial pendant lamps are made from cast aluminium with thick domed glass diffusers.Maxlume left the pendant lights in the original grey paintwork. With just the addition of a beeswax coating the shine of the patina returned. It is becoming harder and harder to find large lots of British industrial lighting like this.
