Planet Under Construction's?unique twist on traffic cone light art will make you do a double take upon your journey through Sydney, Australia's?Circular Quay station. The plans for this specialized railway system began back in 1909 when engineers and architects noticed special activity occurring throughout the area that would need a well thought out transportation friendly design of its own. Circular Quay was originally the central harbor of a settlement for Sydney and is now an area of historical significance.

PUC was created by the international architecture firm Woods Bagot, and will mark the entrance point to the festival of light and music, just like the Circular Quay marks the significance of Sydney's historical harbor.
The chandelier is made of 200 traffic cones affixed onto a hand welded large circular metal frame, with a hidden interior light source. All of which is synergistically suspended in the air by bungie cables. The video below shows you a glimpse of the chandelier's installation.
