According to Standardization Administration of the People's Republic of China notice Minimum Allowable Values of Energy Efficiency and Energy Grade for Printers and Fax Machines (GB 25956-2010) on Jan. 10th, 2011, and it will be taken into effect on July 1st , 2011, the related requirements as follows,
Ⅰ. The printers, fax machines and printer-fax multifunction devices will adopt GB 25956-2010 instead of certification technical specification. Applicants can select product category by fax machines(701004), printers (701005)and printer-fax multifunction devices(701006).
Ⅱ For certificate holders who hold old edition certificates should submit the modifying application since this notice released.
1.For the certificates accepted according to CQC3109-2010 Energy Conservation Certification Rules for Printers and Faxes can issue the new one directly.
2.For the certificates accepted by CQC3109-2009 Energy Conservation Certification Rules for Printers and Printer-fax Multifunction Devices, CQC3110-2009 Energy Conservation Certification Rules for Faxes, CQC3111-2009 Energy Conservation Certification Rules for Digital Multifunction Devices, should pass the test by new standards then the new certificates can be issued.
The old certificates changing should be completed by Jan. 8th, 2012. If the certificates were not transferred on time, they would be postponed. If they failed to be replaced before April 8th, 2012, they would be withdrawn.
