Paul Heijnen’s walking wooden box lamp has an explorative personality, it shuffles, it bends, it moves around his narrated short film (see video below) while addressing a new way to market lighting. This hot number was revealed at this year’s Milan’s Design Week in Milan, Italy.

The Hyperion Spotlight broadcasts the normally concealed mechanical components of a lamp, instead of hiding them Heijnen takes to exposing them in all of their wooden glory. And just like in the movie below, Hyperion is so moveable you may think it is actually alive.
