The Smoked Ice Smithe Lamp from Arteriors, even the name sounds cool. Smoked ice, if your imagination could gather up the components of smoked ice (different than dry ice) the base of this table lamp would pretty much some it up. However the designers have a different idea, for the base was designed to resemble a tree and not ice.
This tree sculpture was cast in a clear resin, after which it is tinted light gray. The best part? The silver foil lining on the gray silk shade allows for the lamp to glow when it is turned on.
