Harvey LED Task Lamp Allows for a Wider Variety of Movement

Created by David Oxley, the Harvey LED task lamp consists of joints held together with magnets rather than springs or cantilevers. This design allows for a wider variety of movement than a typical lamp would be able to do.

The LED lamp in the head directs light towards a metal reflector to give an even distribution of light. Named after William Harvey the English physician and inspired by surgeon lamps. The lamp produces 370 lumens of brightness while only using 3 watts of energy, but it also comes with a dimmer if the mood calls for it.
