Restaurants and cafes throughout Paris, France are adding foodie ambiance throughout their spaces just by changing and rearranging common dining components. The Le Nid Restaurant (French for “The Nest”) sits on top of the Tour de Bretagne in Nantes, France. In a project designed by a native Nantesian Jean Julien, the concept was to theme the bar with the bird-like name.

Embracing the physical aspect of the nest (the bar) and the eggs (a gathering of people), this ordinary space was transformed into a pleasant exchange of nature meets civilization via egg chairs and a giant cartoonish stork bar ensemble. High above the ground flocks (the people in the bar) can view down below, much like birds do from their nests and branches high in the tree tops.
