The colorful display of mechanical gears and light and shadow of the exhibit Clockwork Snow was designed by the design team Frank Tjepkema and Leonie Janssen. Yet nothing like the flick Clockwork Orange, this upbeat magical performance?brings its viewers directly to a world of icy snowflakes via a mechanical fantasyland.

The pictures included in this blog post reflect the display window as seen at Christmas, in one of Italy's most famous department stores, La Rinascente on Piazza Duomo in Milano. The design team at Tjep was one in six international artists and designers to be chosen for this admiral project.
