The national standard of Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems — Requirements.(GB/T28001-2011) has been promulgated on Dec. 30th, 2011 and took effect on Feb. 1st, 2012. According to the related requirements of CNCA and CNAS, CQC made the conversion guideline and requirements, the details as follows.
1 Certification body will be not to issue 2001 version certificate since Jan. 1st, 2013. For the clients has signed the audit contact by old version, should negotiate with local contacted company.
2 Any 2001 version certificate is invalid since Jan. 1st, 2014, please arranges your own time.
3 Please modify the original OHSAS system according to new version standard, such as documents modifying, danger sources re-identification, and implement the related management system by new version, then take the internal audit and management review before applying to version-changing audit.
4 For the clients who hold GB/T28001-2001 version certificate by CQC, the conversion audit can combine annual surveillance with recertification audit. CQC will check clients'OHSAS documents in line with new version standards before on-site audit. In addition, on-site audit person/day will be increased (More than 0.5 person day) on the original basis.
5 For the organizations got OHSAS18001:2007 version certificate issued by CQC, can combine surveillance with recertification audit, then apply to renewal Chinese and English GB/T28001-2011 certificate with CNAS logo, and withdrew the original OHSAS18001:2007 certificate. If there is no change, site audit person/day will not be additional increase.
