3M, the diversified technology company, has announced that DK Thermal will distribute its thermally conductive adhesive tapes in the UK.
Thermally conductive adhesive transfer tapes are designed to transfer heat rapidly from electronic components to heat sinks and other cooling devices in high power density applications and have come to prominence as LED arrays simultaneously shrink in size and increase in power.

In a recent interview with Lighting, 3M's global lighting business manager, Brad Zinke, explained how the advent of the LED had created new opportunities for businesses like 3M that specialise in reflective polymers.
