Italian sports car manufacturer Ferrari has launched its new turbocharged 2014 Formula One power unit - 059/3.
The new 1.6-liter V6 Formula One 059/3 engine is further boosted by an energy recovery system, autoblog.com reported.
This engine generates 160 horsepower, which is enough to power the car for 30 seconds on full batteries, the Ferrari claims.
According to the company, the new engine can shave a massive three seconds per lap.
Ferrari manufactures cars and vehicles. It offers GT and sport, and classic cars; and after sales and financial services.
The company also provides pre-owned Ferrari vehicles.
