FIAT has unveiled the new Fiat 500 1957 Edition Cabrio, which is claimed to offer vintage Italian styling with open-air driving.
Built on the Fiat 500 1957 Edition, the 2015 Fiat 500c 1957 Edition is said to feature dual-layer power-operated cloth top, a contemporary solution to canvas roof on original Cinquecento.
The cloth top is designed in such a way that it automatically retracts up to the rear-spoiler position, and can fold all the way open and tuck behind the rear head restraints.
FIAT Brand North America head Jason Stoicevich said: "The Fiat 500 1957 Edition celebrates the spirit of the original 1957 Nuova 500, and with the arrival of a cabrio version, we are adding open-air fun to the iconic Italian-designed Fiat 500 1957 Edition."
The 2015 Fiat 500 1957 Edition incorporates Marrone (brown) and Avorio (ivory) leather interior, sport-tuned suspension and 16in aluminum wheels with a retro body-color design.
The car is available as a hatchback or a cabrio in three colors, including Bianco (white), Verde Chiaro (light green) and Celeste (celestial blue).
