The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has announced that Earth Circle Organics and Harmonic Arts Botanical Dispensary brand Organic Carob Powder is being recalled over possible presence of Salmonella.
The products associated with the recall include Earth Circle Organics Organic Carob Powder bearing UPC codes 8 94932 00228 3, 8 94932 00273 3, 8 13313 01148 5 and 8 94932 00274 0.
The recalled products also include Harmonic Arts Botanical Dispensary Carob Raw Powder with UPC codes 1 37101 67696 1 and 1 37101 61636 3.
All the recalled products have been shipped to Alberta, British Columbia, and may have been possibly sold in other provinces as well.
According to CFIA, the recall has been classified as Class II health hazard.
No illnesses have been reported associated with the recall.
