Penske Truck Leasing has opened a new truck rental, leasing and maintenance facility in Phoenix, US that has a worth of $6m.
The new facility has a footprint of 24,000sqft and is built on a 10acres land that is located at 1945 West Hilton Avenue.
Features of the facility include five truck service bays, an automated wash bay and a three-lane commercial truck fuel island with bulk diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) dispensation, while the maintenance shop has wireless technology.
Penske Truck Leasing Western Region senior vice president Rick Pytlik said the company needed space for its growth following which it moved to the new location.
"We've doubled the size of our building space and increased our acreage fivefold," Pytlik added.
Additionally, the company will service trucks with engines that run on compressed natural gas (CNG) or liquefied natural gas (LNG) at the new facility.
