Mercedes-Benz has started taking orders for its Mercedes-Maybach S-Class prior to the scheduled market launch in February 2015.
This new Mercedes' flagship model with a length of 5453 mm and a wheelbase of 3365 mm, offers additional 20cm in both dimensions than the S-Class Saloon with long wheelbase.
Specifically designed to be chauffeur-driven, the new vehicle will be more spacious where the wheelbase of the saloon provides a 200mm extension. In addition, the roof line provides better headroom for passengers.
The vehicle also delivers innovative safety features with the availability of seat belt buckle extender, beltbag and seat cushion airbag.
With a voice amplification system, it allows easier communication between front and rear passengers. Two microphones installed on the interior mirror will also enable to pick up speech for the hands-free telephone system.
The Mercedes-Maybach S 600, top model in the range, uses V12 biturbo engine with an output of output of 390 kW. The Mercedes-Maybach S 500 is equipped with V8 biturbo engine with a capacity of 335 kW.
