Linx Printing Technologies has unveiled new Linx 10 continuous ink jet (CIJ) printer at Pack Expo 2016 in the US.
The event is being held from 6 to 9 November in Illinois.
LInx 10 is a compact and portable entry-level CIJ printer developed for smaller businesses that need to code products for the first time, and replace non-digital coding methods.
The portability of the printer enables it to use as a back-up machine for experienced CIJ users, allowing quickly be moved and place wherever required.
Featuring a carry handle and printhead dock, the new printer is about half the weight and footprint of other CIJ printers.
Due to its small size, the printer can be mounted directly onto a conveyor or production line.
The new model includes various Linx features, comprising of error-free message set-up through a colour touch screen and helps users to service the printer themselves.
Linx 10 also features integrated automatic line speed sensor that helps to set-up on the line easier while ensuring consistent code quality.
The company is also showcasing Linx 8900 series CIJ printer, Linx SL1 laser coder, Linx IJ375 high definition large character outer case coder, TT5 thermal transfer overprinter and TJ725 thermal inkjet printer at the event
The new Linx 8920 and 8940 printers integrate multiple enhancements to the Linx 8900, delivering faster line speeds and easier set-up.
Linx 8900 series offers a continual check of the printer’s operation in terms of ink system running parameters and environmental conditions.
