UK-based Leopard Recycling has purchased Cromwell Recycling, the recycling division of UK-based refuse sack supplier Cromwell Polythene.
Leopard Recycling commercial director Mark Fuller said having taken care of Cromwell's recycling division for the past eight years, he is well aware of its potential, according to letsrecycle.com.
"Although our focus will continue to be polythene, Leopard will be free to develop its own markets, trading a more diverse range of recyclable waste materials," Fuller said.
Cromwell Polythene CEO James Lee said recent growth of its recycling division has diverted valuable resource, both human and financial, from its mainstream business, supplying bags, sacks and ancillary storage and collection products to the recycling and waste management sector.
