Global food packaging company tna is set to unveil its new tna robagFXIS 3ci series which features rotary impulse sealing jaws system to pack fresh or frozen vegetables, salads, ready to eat fruit, and pre-wrapped candies.
Suitable for polyethylene (PE) packaging, the new vertical form fill and seal (VFFS) robag range has bagging speeds of up to 150bpm and is the latest addition to the company's robag 3ci packaging line, packagingeurope.com reported.
The robagFXIS 3ci series can be added to existing packaging lines and fully integrated with tna weighers, metal detectors, date coders and conveyors for a packaging line.
According to the company, the baggers have auto connect and unload assist features and also monitor for product in the seal and jaw areas with product-in-seal-detection software, which adjusts the speed accordingly, resulting in reduced waste.
The company will unveil its new robag range at PackExpo 2012 which will be held from 28 to 31 October in Chicago.
