Feng Hsin, one of the major steel long product makers in Taiwan announced to raise its rebar prices by NT$400/ton to NT$18,900/ton for this week.
Besides, the company increased its scrap prices by NT$400/ton to NT$11,500~NT$12,200/ton for this week.
However, Feng Hsin postpone offering list prices for section steel products for thus week and its list price remained at NT$20,500~NT$20,700/ton.
Industry sources said that the firm may raise the prices for section steel products soon after it hikes the list prices for rebar and scrap substantially by NT$400/ton for this week.
