InTouch Health, a provider of telemedicine solutions, has introduced a remote care ControlStation (CS) App for iPad.
Using a single intuitive interface, Doctors can now connect from iPads and iPad Minis to offer patient care through any of the Company's FDA-cleared, purpose-built remote presence devices, according to the company.
An interface integrates clinical patient data and medical radiology imaging tools through a single user login.
Dignity Health Mercy Telehealth Network director Jim Roxburgh said the center has participated in the clinical validation of the CS App for iPad.
"I could see the overwhelming enthusiasm from the doctors across the various medical specialties for which we provide remote services to our member hospitals," Roxburgh added.
The company said it is displaying its remote Care iPad App, along with its entire suite of TeleStroke products and services, at the International Stroke Conference held in Honolulu, Hawaii, US, from 6-8 February 2013.
