Charlotte-based snack food producer Tropical Foods is launching a new line of yogurt pretzel bags that will be made available in seven different flavors including blueberry, strawberry, and Greek yogurt flavored pretzels.
"We've listened to our customers' desires for sweet and salty snacks," said Chad Hartman, Director of Marketing at Tropical Foods. "These flavors are a perfect mix of bold flavors and are easy to grab on the go. Snacking, rather than full meals, is becoming more widespread and this new product meets that trend"
Overall, 91% of adults snack at least once a day and 25% admit to snacking 3-5 times per day (Neilsen). Additionally, 68% of consumers said they look for snacks that are fun to eat. Some of this segment's leaders include chocolate-covered salty snacks, like pretzels.
Tropical's Pretzel Bags are available in Chocolate Pretzels, Yogurt Pretzels, Greek Yogurt Pretzels, Key Lime Yogurt Pretzels, Strawberry Yogurt Pretzels, Blueberry Yogurt Pretzels, and Raspberry Yogurt Pretzels. The pretzels are in stand-up resealable packaging for easy snacking.
