The New Cooperative Brewing Announced in Samuel Adams

US-based Samuel Adams Brewing has introduced two new collaboration beers with recipients of the Samuel Adams Brewing the American Dream Brewing and Business Experienceship, a mentorship opportunity offered as part of the firm's small business micro lending and coaching program.

The first beer is Boston Tea Party Saison, which is developed in collaboration with Jim Woods, brewer and founder of San Francisco-based MateVeza.

The second beer is ThreeNinety Bock, which is developed in collaboration with Chris Spinelli and Jon Mervine, brewers and co-founders of Roc Brewing in Rochester, New York.

Boston Tea Party Saison includes MateVeza's ingredient yerba mate tea and Samuel Adams' Kosmic Mother Funk (KMF), a blend of wild yeasts and bacteria, which adds beers unique flavors.

ThreeNinety Bock has subtle spice from rye malt and a marmalade sweetness, which blends in a hint of smoke and a slightly sweet dry finish.

Samuel Adams Brewing founder and brewer Jim Koch said, "Brewing with MateVeza and Roc Brewing Co. is a terrific example of how craft brewers work together and support each other in the spirit of growing the entire craft beer industry and creating flavorful new beers."
