Cooper Lighting declared the launch of its globally unique Zhaga-certified IRiS Lighting Systems P3LED directional series.

Zhaga intends to attain interchangeability of LED light sources to cut down risk and cost while developing products,without affecting creativity and design freedom.Zhaga's efforts and certification will lead to easy integration of LED light sources within the existing environments.
The P3LED 3-inch aperture LED recessed series incorporates the LED's sustainable features and extended durability with the versatility of interchangeable optics to be effective for challenging residential as well as commercial applications.The unique design of the P3LED enables modification of the light distribution during development or at later stage by altering the optical elements such as trims in a variety of configurations including wall wash and lens as well as accent and downlight solutions.The series is being offered in 85 CRI typical,with a minimum of 80 CRI,3000K CCT and can endure for 50,000 h.
The P3LED consists of a digital addressable lighting interface(DALI)option that is compatible with Cooper Controls'Fifth Light advanced lighting management control system.In order to achieve high performance,the Fifth Light Technology Control and Management System minimizes operating costs,thereby increasing energy-efficiency and light quality.Using this system,the facility management can carry out measurement and control of energy utilization across individual fixtures.It also offers incorporation and control of other building management systems in a variety of applications.
The IRiS P3LED has been recognized and recommended for specification in the fourth annual Next Generation Luminaires Solid-State Lighting Design Competition.
