German plastic packaging and components producer Sanner will introduce a range of products and developments in pharmaceutical and healthcare packaging at Pharmapack Europe, which will be held from 13-14 February 2013 in Paris.
The company will showcase its latest innovation FOSG 27 flip top closure which sets new standards for effervescent tablet closures.
Sanner innovation and product management head Dr Sabine Moter said senior citizens and people with impaired motor skills find it difficult to open market-standard lids on effervescent tablet packaging.
"Our new flip-top closure FOSG 27 addresses this problem - and introduces a new and more user-friendly generation of effervescent tablet packaging," Moter said.
According to the company, the hinged flip-top closure with an ergonomically designed thumb tab ensures easy and painless opening of the lid with one hand.
Sanner will also present packaging solutions such as the 360° Capsules with integrated desiccant, the test strip packaging 'StripTec One' for increased product safety and convenience, as well as the 'TabTec' pocket-sized tablet container.
