Walkers Snack Foods Recalls Walkers Sensations Lime and Coriander Chutney Poppadoms

Walkers Snack Foods has recalled a batch of its Walkers Sensations Lime and Coriander Chutney Poppadoms as they contain egg and shrimp that are not mentioned on the labeling, the UK Food Standards Agency announced.

The recalled Walkers Sensations Lime & Coriander Chutney Poppadoms of 82.5g feature best before code 21 December 2013 and batch number: 21 12 13 GBN 210 246. No other Walkers Snack Foods products are known to be affected.

Walkers Snack Foods has withdrawn the affected product from sale and displayed customer notices at stores explaining the reason behind the recall.

In addition, it contacted relevant allergy support organizations, which will inform their members about the withdrawal.

Consumers intolerant to egg or shrimp (crustacean) are at a risk of illness if they eat this product.

Those who have purchased the product have been advised to discard it and instead return the packs to the place of purchase for a full refund.
