California-based financial holding firm Versant International has completed the acquisition of Mamma's Best, an organic natural foods company based in Irvine, California.
Mamma's Best produces organic barbeque sauces, marinades, soups and spreads that are available at Sprouts, Whole Foods and specialty grocers.
Under the marinades and organic barbecue sauces, the company's products include Backyard Barbecue Sauce, Savory Soy Ginger Marinade. Under the soup range, its products include Tuscan Fagioli, Oven Roasted Vegetable, Tantalizing Thai, Wholesome Bliss Veggie Broth, Soup de Soleil.
The company's jams and spreads range includes the following flavors - grape, strawberry, plum, blackberry pear, mango jalapeno, and acai blueberry.
Versant International said that it is currently involved in discussions with new potential acquisitions from various industries including entertainment, technology and hospitality. The firm is planning to finalize three new acquisitions in the coming months.
