ConvaTec, a developer of medical technologies, has purchased Trio Healthcare International.
Under the acquisition, Trio Healthcare products will be added to the ConvaTec's ostomy care portfolio.
Trio Healthcare products include Niltac sting free medical adhesive remover and Silesse sting free skin barrier, both featuring the company's silicone technologies, and Diamonds Gelling Sachets with ActiveOne odor control.
ConvaTec global marketing, business development and innovation senior vice president Jorgen Hansen said the Trio Healthcare's range of products enhances the company's portfolio of ostomy care accessories, offering solutions for increased security, comfort and discretion.
"We look forward to bringing the benefits of these innovative products, alongside our advanced ostomy systems and best-in-class adhesives such as ConvaTec Moldable Technology, to more customers around the world," Hansen added.
