Global packaging company Coveris has introduced new range of drinks labels designed for the smoothie brand, Innocent, in the UK and European markets.
The new transparent labels use specially developed ink technology, allowing for new design’s signature color stamp with improved product visibility.
Coveris said that the new labels mark a major design transition for the Innocent brand.
Meanwhile, Innocent has unveiled a new-look smoothie packs in order to shift away from their classic white branding.
The packs replace large 750ml cartons with a recyclable PET bottle and label. It also features signature 250ml white bottle labels for a new transparent look.
Coveris sales category director Craig Bevan said: “The launch of the redesign for a major household brand like Innocent, which relies critically on print to deliver its brand message on pack has allowed us to utilize a number of new technologies we have developed within our print business.
“Achieving these big bold colors and unique on-pack messages consistently is what positions Coveris as one of Europe’s leading flexographic printers and we hope to see a major impact on Innocent sales as a result.”
The redesigned Innocent packs will be made available in seven classic smoothie lines including mangoes & passion fruits, strawberries & bananas and the greens.
Coveris said that it is using opacity inks and advanced printing technology for the new labels to achieve a range of mouth watering vivid colors.
