Connectivity and sensor maker TE Connectivity is planning to unveil connectivity and sensor technologies for automotive industry at the electronic fair in Munich, Germany.
The technology includes TE's connectors, sensors and antennas that can be embedded in automobiles that are capable of communicate data, power and signal, and make the connected devices smarter.
The electronic and electrical systems developed by TE is capable of withstanding rigorous conditions and can work in all weather environments, the company claimed.
For trucks and buses the company is planning to introduce Urea Quality Sensor, which will feature magnetic reed switch technology, and will provide reliable and robust diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) heating and accurate liquid level, temperature and quality measurements, in extreme conditions.
TE Global Automotive business president Eric Kueppers said: "Electronica is an important event for us, not only to highlight TE's latest technologies but also to engage and collaborate with customers.
