Volvo has unveiled its V60 Cross Country crossover which is a Cross Country version of its V60 sports wagon, set to debut at the 2014 LA Motor Show.
North American customers will be the first to get the car, and it is powered by 250 hp petrol engine with All-Wheel Drive option.
The car will also be available in Drive-E four-cylinder diesel variant globally with Front-Wheel Drive option, and the five-cylinder D4 powertrain with All-Wheel Drive option.
V60 Cross is equipped with 18" and 19" wheels, along with tyres that are designed for comfort and off-road aesthetics.
The car has been given a rugged design with improved ground clearance, side scuff plates, fender extenders, and skid plates in front and rear.
Volvo Cars Product Strategy senior vice president Lex Kerssemakers said: "With ground clearance increased 65mm compared to the V60, the Cross Country's sturdy construction offers unparalleled control on and off the beaten track, coupled with an enhanced sporty driving experience thanks to torque vectoring technology and corner traction control.
