The title was previously held by his mother, Aminy Audi, who remains chairman and CEO of the company.

Edward Audi joined the family-owned company in 1991, holding a variety of positions in manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, design, customer service, accounting and human resources.

In 2007, became responsible for the company's Manlius manufacturing facility and became president of the Stickley International factory in Vietnam.

"(It's) been my good fortune to have been mentored in the business by my parents, who dedicated their working lives to reviving Stickley and creating opportunities for our people to advance and grow along with us," Edward Audi said in a press release.

"They've managed to do so with great passion and integrity, and I look forward to continuing in that tradition."

Aminy Audi said that during Edward's tenure, he has become familiar with every aspect of Stickley's business and worked in almost every department.

She added that his appointment provides continuity and builds on the strong foundation which she and the late Alfred Audi laid for the company. The pair acquired Stickley in the early 1970s and rebuilt it into a thriving high-end brand.

"His deep appreciation for Stickley's heritage and for our long-term commitment to our dealers and customers, combined with his vision, passion and innovative sprit, will help him take the company to the next level," Aminy Audi said in a press release.

"He is very well prepared for this new leadership role and has the support of everyone at Stickley," she added.
