Russia’s meat company Cherkizovo announced that poultry sales have increased 22% year-on-year to 416,622 tonnes.
While sales price for poultry grew by 18% in ruble terms, pork sales increased by 8% to 170,172 tonnes in 2014. Sales price for pork also rose 47% in ruble terms in 2014.
Sales volume in the meat processing division grew by 7% year-on-year to 144,189 tonnes in 2014.
Further, sales volume in grain division also increased by 70% year-on-year to 237,106 tonnes last year.
