Baosteel Group Xinjiang Bayi Steel Co., Ltd. southern Xinjiang steel base rolling workshop rolling production lines undergo successful trial production.
On the morning of March 28, Baosteel Group Bayi Steel southern Xinjiang steel production base project undergoes successful ignition and trial production in Baicheng, which marks that the environment-friendly steel joint project with largest one-time investment, construction scale and highest automationthe level in Xinjiang's iron and steel industry is equipped with production capacity.
Baosteel Group Xinjiang Bayi Steel Co., Ltd. southern Xinjiang steel base project is the autonomous region's "12th Five-Year" key project. It is known that the project's total investment is 8.2 billion yuan. It is designed in accordance with recycling economy and sustainable development requirements and focuses on resource improvement and energy efficiency. Through the use of modern technology and equipment, clean production technology and modern management system and philosophy, it reduces original fuel consumption and the consumption of a variety of resources and reduces waste slag, scrap and waste material generated in the production process. It conserves resources, reduces costs and improves efficiency. On this basis, it carries out full scale recycling of residual heat, residual pressure, residual gas, residual water and solid waste generated in production process. At the same time, it uses advanced and applicable environmental measures (including sintering desulfurization facilities construction) and reduces pollutant emission.
According to reports, after Bayi Steel southern Xinjiang base project is all put into production, it will form an annual output of 3 million tons of steel production capacity and achieve more than 10 billion yuan of annual output value and directly solve and stimulate more than 10000 people's employment. This year, the output value of the project will reach 5 billion yuan and can propel more than 470 million yuan of industrial added value for Baicheng County.
