Cadillac has unveiled its 2016 ATS-V ahead of its official debut at the 2014 Los Angelis Motor Show.
The car will be available in sedan and coupe versions, and will be powered by twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter V6 engine, capable of producing 455 horsepower and pump 445 lb-ft of torque.
ATS-V is capable of accelerating from 0-60 km/h in 3.9 seconds and attain top speed of more than 185 mph.
The car features Magnetic Ride Control to facilitate faster damping response, Brembo high-performance brake system, integrated chassis controls, and three driving modes: touring, sport and track.
General Motors has given the car an aerodynamic design with front and rear fascias, larger grille openings and front splitter to enhance handling along with lightweight forged aluminum wheel.
The 5.7-inch infotainment system in the car will allow bluetooth connectivity and voice recognition. It will also facilitate text to voice conversion to reduce distraction, and 4G LTE connectivity with built-in Wi-Fi hotspot, the company claimed.
Cadillac executive chief engineer David Leone said: "As the smallest and lightest V-Series ever, the ATS-V forges a great connection with the driver, with exceptional nimbleness and responsiveness.
"It's adaptable to the driver's preferences, with every selectable mode developed to deliver the best performance for all types of driving scenarios, including the track."
