UK-based manufacturer of injection moulded open-top polypropylene containers RPC Containers Oakham has been selected by the independent food consortium Caterforce to provide 200PS 2.5L injection-moulded tub for fruit fillings and sauces range.
According to RPC, the 200PS 2.5L injection-moulded tub is being developed in white PP for the Chefs' Selections by Caterforce range of fruit fillings and sauces.
The container is being produced at the Oakham site using in-mould labelling (IML). The label matches those used across the Chefs' Selections range.
The lightweight, shatter-proof characteristics of the containers provides a safety advantage in the kitchen, the company said.
The RPC Oakham range is available in variable sizes ranging from 1.8-25L. Although, Caterforce has selected no-handle option, the container can easily be fitted with a plastic or metal handle.
Caterforce, established in 1991, is a buying and marketing consortium that works with seven of the UK's leading independent foodservice wholesalers and has turnover in excess of £300m.
The company offers a wide range of branded frozen, chilled and grocery products as well as a comprehensive range of own label products.
