It’s reported that Japan’s Kobe Steel announced to raise the quotes of steel wires and bars by 1,000/ton in order to improve profits.
The new prices will be applied for domestic and export markets, effective from April 1st. Kobe Steel stated that it decided to hike the quotes of steel wires and bars in order to improve profits and reflect high input costs.
Meanwhile, the company said that the market demand is recovering.
