Skoda has commenced the series production of Fabia Combi at the company’s Mladá Boleslav plant in Czech Republic.
The car which is in its third generation is expected to have more space, functionality and eco-friendliness when compared to its predecessors.
According to Skoda, Fabia Combi consumes 17% less fuel than its second generation model.
Skoda is also planning to launch Fabia Combi GreenLine, in the second half of 2015, which is expected to have fuel consumption of 3.1 l/100 and CO2 emissions of only 82 g/km.
Based on Skoda's sharp design language the car has dynamic proportions, Crystalline elements and has adopted some design elements from Skoda VisionC show car.
The car also features new comfort, safety and infotainment systems with MirrorLink technology, which displays smartphone apps on the infotainment system screen.
With the new SmartGate function drivers will be able to view and save data of the vehicle through smartphone by using special apps.
The five passenger car has boot capacity of 530 liters which can go up to 1395 liters if the rear seat is folded.

"As the best-selling vehicle in its segment, the Fabia Combi is a pillar of the SKODA growth strategy. With its outstanding features, it has everything to attract new consumer groups for both the model and the brand."
Fabia Combi is expected to hit the markets in January 2015.
